Question: Is smoking weed (marijuana) legal in some States?
Answer: No. Every State, from Alabama, Colorado, Kentucky to Vermont, including Arizona and every State in between, has enacted various criminal penalties for the possession, use, cultivation, transportation and distribution, of marijuana, including even the smallest of quantities.
Arizona punishes possession of amounts less than two pounds as a class six felony with fines between $750 and $150,000 and jail or prison time from six months to a year and a half.
A few States have decriminalized marijuana use and possession in small amounts (N. Carolina and California for example) but even there, its still illegal.

weed should be decriminalized. We need to be careful not to let it turn into a big corupt buisness, like tobacco companies who fill their product with harmfull chemicals to make us buy more. dont think there is rat poisen in weed ;(

weed should be legalized for in home and adult private use. it should remain illegal to be on it while driving and in the presence of children. i also think they should make alcohol and cigarettes illegal. i have never smoked pot but i know my facts, read up on it yourself too

Some people need it in order to feel better at times. I agree, some abuse it, but weed isn't the type of drug that will make u lose your mind in the long term usage of it. Other drugs and alcohol will. Plus, I dont think it's that big a deal seeings they did legalize alcohol, and there are many non responcible drinkers out there who drink and drive, shouldn't u be calling an alcoholic bad too?? Think about it, it doesn't make a whole lot of difference. The government dont need to make anymore money anyways, its easy enough to get it as it is.

i think it should be legal. If not just 4 a certin age group it should be legal for everybody! weed is great everybody should be high all day everyday!!!
