Question: Is smoking weed (marijuana) legal in some States?
Answer: No. Every State, from Alabama, Colorado, Kentucky to Vermont, including Arizona and every State in between, has enacted various criminal penalties for the possession, use, cultivation, transportation and distribution, of marijuana, including even the smallest of quantities.
Arizona punishes possession of amounts less than two pounds as a class six felony with fines between $750 and $150,000 and jail or prison time from six months to a year and a half.
A few States have decriminalized marijuana use and possession in small amounts (N. Carolina and California for example) but even there, its still illegal.

im with every1 else on here. It should be legal there is nothing wrong with it. The government would make so much more money if they legalized marijuana. The only reason that it isnt legal yet is because the government has no way to tax it.

Also look at the facts how many people overdose on weed?( Nobody.) How many peolpe has overdose on every thing else? (Everyone who keeps doing it)And all car wreaks are mainly drinking and driving, when have u heard of a person wreaking cause he was, if any thing that person will be eather eating at home or sleeping.I think wants the state can make us pay taxes on the weed its going to be legal

I think that pot should be legalized. Marijuana is not just a plant used for the sick and people wishing to get high. Over thousands of years people have smoked it as a form of social gathering, prayer, meditation, physical problems, emotional problems, its been used as a form of showing prosperity, and even cortship. we as humans are still technically animals, this is just another flower on our planet. its not truelly as addictive as the government makes it out to be. its really just that over time the government has figured out that they can use this as another means for circualting money

Not once when i was high did i want to go out and murder someone or commit any sort of crime its not as bad as people make it out to be i was kicked out of school in 8th grade for having it on me. yes i was high and i had to take my exam high BUT I ACED THAT so theres a little proof that marijuana doesent make people taht stupid ive been in so much trouble over marijuana but i wouldnt take any of it back not for the world

It should definitly be legalized.First of all its not all about smoking marijuana.Marijuana has far more potential than just being consumed for relaxation and other medical reasons. Marijuana or"hemp"can be used as fuel,paper,clothing,medicine the list goes on and on. Marijuana could literally save our planet, simply because it could replace all of the fossil fuels that we use today(which wont last forever).
