so is growing and using shrooms a more severe crime than growing and using marijuana, cuz thats what it seems like. shrooms are a class 3 felony while marijuana you just get probation...that doesnt seem to make too much sense to me, they are about equal in my opinion, they should lower the penalties on shrooms

I agree with the "land of the free" statement. As americans we believe to hold all these freedoms but we are really prisioners of our own minds... As we sit being told what we need to learn for the test, which may never be relevant again in our lives, we are also forced to swallow this idea that Psychoactives are bad. Does anyone ever realize any more that at one time Heroine was used in cough syrup over the counter or that Coca-Cola really has a meaning behind it's name. If we are trully free then we should be able to experience what we want when we want to. (continued in the next post)

That may be the very reason we have this "huge" drug "problem" in this country. not allowed to experience our lives for ourselves? we are forced to do so in secrecy, even if it is deemed illegal by the Powers that be. I realize every day that if the country would just allow us to experience the things we want then mabey more money would go the the states... immagine if they legalized marijuana and taxed it like they do cigarettes. Go to a mueseum look at the tribes of natives to the area... how many pipes do you see? Possibly a Clue to happier places?

do you really think it is right to smoke. think about, this mary jane didn't change our life, it was your choice to start becoming a better student. you might think it did but it only hurts you more. it just like smoking cigs, maybe not as adictive, but it ruins you. also you should think what it would fell like to be a good student and wake up knowing you aren't doing anything illegal and to know you you arent hurting your body.

the U.S. is sorta like an oxymoron: this is the supposed "land of the free," yet it's government has the world locked down. America consists of innocent people, represented by a single tyrannical regime, sound familiar? Saddam, you're pretty bad. Our current administration, not far behind. This is America, we need to speak up for ourselves, and not let one group control our entirety. We need to figure out what's right for America, and maybe some drugs need to be liberated. that's the way I see it. peace to all yall anyways. openmindedness is the key to humanity's future.
