"I wish I never listened to the guys.  It all started out as fun, drinking beer and cruising around the school at night.  We mess around a couple of nights a week and never got caught.  One night, we got pulled over by the cops, I was driving and had 3 buddies in the car with me.  We drank a full six pack and still had the empty bottles in the car.  A soon as I heard the siren I knew we were busted.  I wound up in jail for 24 hours.  My parents had to hire a lawyer and we all had to go to court.  My coach found out and I got thrown off the football team.  I lost my part-time job cause I didn't show up for work that night.   I just started the job and was saving money toward my new car.  Instead, the judge ordered me to pay a $250 fine and I had to do 50 hours of community service by running errands for senior citizens in my neighborhood.  What a mess for me and my family.  I'm graduating in a few months and my parents had promised to give me a down payment for my car, but now that car is out of the question.  I won't let my friends talk me into drinking and driving ever again.

Hey, just happened to find your site by accident. One of the girls I used to talk to at school did the same thing you and your buddies did, except they slammed into a drainage ditch and 2 died and 2 lived. These kids were only 15,16,16, and 17. It is so sad to think you might have died trying to be cool. I hope that you learned from it and encourage everyone else to be smart. It is true that you don't only hurt yourself you hurt others to.

I think you made the right choice not to let your friends talk you into drinking and driving cause it is a bad thing to do cause i lost a really close friend to a drinking and driving accident so don't let anyone talk you into drinking and driving

Fair enough u are all tellin Keith what he did was bad and shouldnt be done and i believe that too, but dont u think we should be thankin keith, for how much courage it must have taken him to write this and provide an example for every1 else to learn from... this is just my personal opinion and before u tell him how wrong he was (which im sure he knows) think about how he was intoxicated and not really thinkin straight and also how he knows he ruined that part of his life. Keith, i admire ur strength and how u acknowledge wat u did was wrong... keep on goin
