    Laws - View Law: JOYRIDING

Joyriding is defined as borrowing someone’s car, bicycle, boat, or motorcycle without permission and with the intention of just using it for a while.

Even if you are just a passenger, you are still responsible and if the vehicle gets damaged you may have to pay.

Other penalties for joyriding are counseling, community service, probation, house arrest, detention, or having your driver’s license or permit taken away.

i started joyriding when i was 12. i have done it atleast 100 times, and each time usually lasts around 3 or 4 hours. I think its stupid when people go joyriding and they have no idea what they are doing, i mean its not even hard to drive, even stick is easy. but yeah i have never gotten caught, but i stopp recently because i have had my permit for a while and i can get my license this month
