Laws - View Law: POSSESSION AND USE OF MARIJUANA

    Possession and Use of Marijuana

Possession and use of marijuana is either a felony or a misdemeanor. Possession of marijuana that you intend to sell is a felony. Possession and use of marijuana can result in probation, attending classes on the harmful effects of drugs, and performing community service. (ARS 13-3405). You may also lose your driving privileges.

An adjudication on a marijuana charge goes on your record and can follow you throughout your life. For example, a candidate for a U.S. Supreme Court appointment was disqualified after admitting he had used marijuana as a student.

they say marijuana has 4 times the cancer causing agents than cigarettes but it is the same because the normal stoner doesn't smoke as much weed as tehy would cigarettes. The reason it is illegal is because the government isnt making any profit. It should be legal but not in a vehicle.

I have been reading all of your posts, and just want to share with you what the use of pot has done to my 17 year old son. He got in trouble 3 years ago and because he was a user of pot, kept violating probation by smoking pot, not going to school, or meeting his other requirements. He has been in detention upwards of 6 times and sits there right now becausehe ran from a treatment program. He is facing Adobe until he is 18. I hope you realize that your freedom will be gone and your parents will be hurt both emotionally and financially as well as you.DON'T USE ! He wishes he did it different
