    Question: Can you be fired for no reason?

    Answer: According to Arizona Statute 23-1501, employment can be terminated by either the employee or employer unless they both signed a contract for a specific length of time. Contact the Labor Relations Department listed in the government section of the phone book, in your home state to inquire about the laws specific to your situation.

    well i dont know the specific law but i do remember filling out an application and in small print it saying, that you could be fired for anything besides religion, race, belives, etc...

    I think that this section should be expanded for better understanding. The main question is, if an employer has fired you for no apparent reason, possibly a personal reason, can a law suit be filed. Assuming your position is filled by someone else, or someone is hired to replace you, meaning, your job position did not terminate, you were. Like i said before, personal reasons, misunderstanding, etc....
