This department of the government tracks information about all professions. I want to be a lawyer but im not sure what kind of lawyer i want to be any suggestions i know that i dont want to be a criminal lawyer i couldnt take the fact that if i knew my client did wrong and had a plea agreement where they were be able to get out of jail and commited a crime like killing someone i wouldnt agree with it so any suggestions? i have thought about a family law or corporate law??

After reading your comment, I would suggest Criminal Defense. Many times, you are the last hope for the person you are defending. It is up to you to see that they receive a fair trial and successfully defending them requires a lot of preparation. Hope this helps. :-)
Also, if you are that interested in pursuing a career in law, I would look into the possibility of joining moot court if your college has it. It's a great way to learn more about the legal field and it's a lot of fun!!

I think one should have the passion and ambition to carry out law and fully understand all of its aspects before jumping into this field. However, I just need guidance in choosing what type of lawyer to become and/or wo to represent. I know I want to help those in need and I'm not interested in representing corporations that rip people off just to make a profit. What would anyone recommend for someone like me?
