Question: im 17 years old and i'm dating a 20 year old , my parents and I do not get along they want me out of the house, would I be able to live with him , legaly if they kick me out? Or are we even Legaly able to date at our ages?

Answer: You are legally allowed to date, you are just not allowed to have sex. You could live with him if they kick you out, but technically they have control over you until you turn 18, so I would try to wait it out until then. If you are really concerned you may want to talk to a counselor at school. Most kids your age don't get along with their parents, you are not in a rare situation, but you should at least try to get along until you are able to legally make your own decisions.

in my state the legal age of consent is 17 and the legal age to move out without ones parental consent is 18. its said(and trust me i've done my research) that if you leave at the age of 17 that they may bring you back the first time, but after that they may advise it but honestly they will just let you go. unless one is living in an unsafe and unstable envirment.

I thought I was the only one well my father kicked me out with all my stuff outside. My boyfriend is 20 also and took me in. We lived in an aparment and I worked making 7.50 an hour for advice sweatheart its very hard unless your boyfriend has a good paying job. Good luck and please my dear finish school or do homeschool but continue your education beyond which will help you move foward if anything goes wrong in that relationship. Your the only wise and strong to make descions wheather to move with a family memeber which its sometimes not a good choice due to abuse ect, laura No More Victims
