Question: If I am 18, and my girlfriend/boyriend is only 16 is it a crime for us to have sex?
Answer: Yes, in Arizona. With rare exceptions it is illegal to have any sexual contact with anyone under 18, even if that person “consents” and even if you are the same age or younger (ARS §13-1405).
