    Question:

Is it legal to marry my sister in the state of AZ. We have been talking about it and we plan on getting married.

    Answer:

It is illegal to marry your sister in Arizona.  A.R.S. § 25-101(A). That statute states, "Marriage between parents and children, including grandparents and grandchildren of every degree, between brothers and sisters of the one-half as well as the whole blood, and between uncles and nieces, aunts and nephews and between first cousins, is prohibited and void."

Love takes form in so may different ways. It is good that you have found someone that really makes you happy and i hope you two can get married. But there are laws on getting married to a sibling. So you two might have a hard time getting married. If you two are biologically related then please DON'T have children, your children can be born deformed. So maybe try adopting:)

I believe it is very very good; this was done earlier; and if your parents are not related in any manner then you should be fine; you need to make sure that your children don't do the same. But Yeah; it is grate you should; imagine you know everything about each other that there is to know hence you guys will do well. best of luck

Honestly, I think it's very sweet. I think if you have found someone that you want to spend the rest of your life with, you ahve every right to do so. There's probably at least one state that lets you do it. It also depends on whether or not she's your actual sister. If one of you were adopted, or if you were step-siblings, that would be more accepted, and easier to manage. I still think it's adorable and you deserve to be happy.
