Hi! just to tell you guys that i totally agree with the opinion you guys have in mind. i am from Northborough in Massachusetts, and in school i am doing a project that requires research about Teen Curfews. and i am on the con side, which means that i don't agree with Teen Curfews. And really, i don't. Anyway, i thank all of you for providing the information that tells me that many, many people disagrees with Teen Curfews, and i do too. it takes a lot of courage to write your opinion on the web. So i choose to do so too. Thanks again!!!!!!!!!!!!

It shouldn't be a law that we be in at a certain time.Parental guardians give each child certain times to be home and thats their personal business. Why should we get fined even if our parents dont care if we are out?Of course tis is just my opinion, but what do you guys think?

I'm 16, and am opposed to curfews. Keep that in mind when I point out that most of the posts on here that are written by kids have terrible grammer. Do you have any idea how ridiculously bad you look when you try to argue that you are as grown up as an adult, but cannot even construct a sentence with correct grammer? You might as well be pro-curfew because you are proving the adults' point. Curfews have no shown statistically to reduce crime, and in some cases have shown an increase (just search google for curfew crime statistics for stats).... continued on next box

It is not enough to just say, hey I'm responsible. That's just not intelligent. If you are going to post on a message board that the public reads, think up an intelligent argument, spell check it on word (seriously), and write something that actually makes sense and matters. Otherwise you are simply wasting everybody's time. It makes no difference how responsible an individual kid is. If you want to prove curfews are a bad idea, it would be beneficial to cite your First and Fourth Amendment rights, as well as the fact that a curfew presumes an entire age group guilty, which is wrong.
