Question: What is the curfew and what happens if I'm out past that time?
Answer: Curfew times are different in every city. You need to check with your city offices to find out what curfew times and dates are.
In Phoenix, the curfew is
10 p.m. to 5 a.m. for kids 15 years old and under, 7 days a week
12 a.m. Midnight to 5 a.m. for 16 and 17 year olds every night
If you are out after curfew, this is an incorrigible act and you could be arrested and prosecuted. Sometimes the police call the parents to pick up the kids.

I just turned 18 and this law wont be affectnig me anymore, but the problem is...all my friends are 16-17 and if i'm driving passed curfew with my friends in the car(there parents know and dont care) then I can get fined with "Contributing to the dilenquency of a minor" and taken to jail. That is not right!!

I was at a party, not drinking or smoking, and the party was broken up by the police and I ran to my friends house nearby. A cop pulled me over and said he was going to arrest me. I did not think he could do this, so I came home and found this website. I think the curfew rule is crew and unfair. Being arrested for being out past a certain time is OINK.

It is unfair to have curfew.Why don't adults have it to?Adults should have it because they are very dangerous for the city What about if they are drunk and then send someone to the hospital.Kids should be able to go out whenever they want, if they are doing damage it's ok to arrest them but if you are just hanging out with friends, just talking its ok but only with parents permission.So, I hope someone reconsiders to change this law so that we can be free when ever we want.
