    Question: Why are the new laws for juveniles so tough?

    Answer: The new laws for juveniles were put into place as a result of a proposition that Arizona voters approved in 1996. It was called the Stop Juvenile Crime Initiative. This initiative added a section to the Arizona constitution 'in order to preserve and protect the rights of the people to justice and public safety'. By voting for Proposition 102, the citizens of Arizona said that they want to feel safe from violent crime.

    well the reason why is because they are to protect you anfd all that you want in the future it also is tough becuase it is tough klove if yoiu give person a warning he is bound to do it again and aagain and again that is why we need that law
