Question: What are the laws regarding minors and sexual consent?
Answer: In Arizona, a person under the age of 18 cannot consent to engage in sexual conduct. Other states have similar laws. You can find out about laws in your state by visiting your state government web page and using key words such as codes, statutes, legislation, etc.

we should be able to date older guys as long as we are to be 16 and older its only fair because teens always fall in love with older guys.

i think that the laws are way too harsh on minors as far as dating "so called " adults... i mean it should be our choice, i mean im 17 and i know that i am ready for the responsiblity of being in a adult relationship... right now i am engaged to a 22 year old man... he loves me with all his heart and has no intention of hurting me... and thats only 5 years apart... i think that there should be an age limit on this kind of stuff... but whatever...

I've never seen a 15 year old with a job making enough money to pay for housing, let alone food, clothing and healthcare for any child they may have. GROW UP!
