I'm dealing with the same relationship right now. I am 19, living in NY, and my girlfriend is 14. Her parents know about me and almost put me in jail for being around her. I have been kicked off the high school campus b/c I've been caught too many times trying to see her. She also have a few older friends that will talk to a teacher if they see me on school grounds. I don't understand why everyone has a problem with this. I love my girlfriend very much. I've been thinking about marrying her, but I have to wait. I hope everything goes well for you.

i just wanted to let everyone know that I am also in the same situation. My boyfriend is 20, (21 in sep) and I just turned 16. My parents don't know about him, and they wont for awhile. I am even at the point where i cry about this because i am very much in love, but my parents will not under any circumstance accept him.I even need their permission to get married, but love has no age limit. I still plan on getting married, simply because i am in love and can take care of myself. Please all and you please none, pleasing yourself is pleasing enough (you cant help who u love) Thanks!

Hey I have been reading everyone's comments and I can relate. When I was 15 I got into a relationship with a 19 year old. He turned 19 only 5 days after I turned 16. My parents freaked out when the found out he was 19. They are very strict about dating someone who is over 18. We are sexually active and my parents also found this out. They have threatened to have him arrested. We are very much in love and have too much going to throw away, but it has been tough. We barely see eachother. What I am trying to say is Girls, make sure they are going to stick around before you get things stirred up.

I dont think there should be laws on how old you have to be to consent to sexual acts. I am 16 and I have been in love twice. I am currently in a very deep and caring relationship with someone who is 19. We are sexually active, but it is something we talked about and both know it is something more then "just sex". I believe that different people have different times that they are ready to experience sex and love. I mean most girls wont have sex until THEY believe they are ready, and who is to tell them they are not. If people want to mess up their lives and have babies, that is their problem.
