Question: How old do you have to be to get your tongue pierced?

Answer: According to Arizona Law (A.R.S. § 13-3721) it is a class 6 felony for anyone to pierce any part of anyone's body if they are under 18 without their parents present (the only exception are your ears). So you can get your tongue pierced if you are under 18 only if your parents come along (a note is not good enough).

I think getting your tounge pierced will hurt worse. I mean, have you ever bitten your tounge hard enough to draw blood? I have and it hurts like hell!

i got my tounge peirced just about a year ago. and my boyfriends roomate did it for me. all i did was eat ice rinse out with listerine and soaked the earing in the listerine. then i stuck out my tounge and going from the bottem to the surface he made a hole with the actual tounge ring it took about 5 minutes but i had my boyfrineds arm to squeeze. when it was done i just rinsed with listerrine a few times a day and it healed in about a month. my parents didnt notice it because i didnt have a lisp. and i'm so short so everyone looks down apon me.theres no need to use a needle, just use thering

I don't think that it is a very good idea to peirce your tounge with a needle, because you don't know where all of the veins are, and if you hit the wrong one, then you might have to get your tounge cut off. I don't even think that getting it professionally done is very good, because even though they were trained, it doesn't mean that your tounge can't get infected, and if the infection gets really bad, then you might have to get it cut off too. My sister has her tounge done, and she regrets ever doing that. She still has her tounge and everything, but she thinks now that it was a bad idea.
