    Question: How can I keep my Dad from getting my inheritance from my Grandma? Put it in the Bank?

    Answer: Consult an attorney who specializes in Tax law by calling the Arizona State Bar at 602 340-7300 and asking for a free list of specialists in Tax law and also try the Children's Law Center at 602-258-3434 X266 and ask for direction to a specialist who can answer your questions about inheritance and tax law.

    I would start saving now! Is she the only trustee of your trust? If so..not she would have to get permission to touch it. It is probably a threat but I would read the will or trust to make sure.

    I'm 18 years old and I haven't spoken to my mom in a while. I do not live in the house or anything. I have an inheritance which I'm not allowed to receive until I am 21. That is fine, but my mother threatens to steal it all the time. And she is the one who gets the mail for it not me. Is there anything I can do to get her name off everything since I'm 18, so I can receive the mail because I don't trust her, and its not hers, and I'm not a minor anymore.
