Question: How old do you have to be before you can legally leave home in Arizona?

    Answer:

If a person under 18 leaves home without permission from a parent or legal guardian, he or she can be prosecuted as an incorrigible child (A.R.S. § 8-201(15)(c)). Some of the consequences of being found incorrigible include being fined, be placed on probation, and being ordered to do community service.

Does anyone know how old you have to be to be emancipated in Ohio?? If so, are there any strict reasons of why you have to be wanting empancipation?? Do your parents have to be like beating you in order for the courts to go for it?? I really want/ need to be emancipated and in the courts eyes I don't think that they will see my reasons for empancipation valid. If anyone has any suggestions of how I could get more info on this subject please let me know.

I am from a very small town in Ohio. I have depression, and I hate school. I have problems fitting in with not only teachers but students. I have had problems with suiside and running away. If a teenager has a problem in school there should at least be another way to get out besides the evil principal telling you that you have to be there intill you turn 18. Because I cant take it anymore and I bet there are millions of other teenagers my age who are just as sick and tired of the same crap that I am suffering with, so please can you help me From a very stressed student.
