Question: I live with my mom and I want to live with my dad because me and my mom don't get along. My mom says that she won't let me go live with him. I don't want to stay with my mom, is there a law saying that if my dad takes me, he'll be charged with kidnapping?
Answer: If your mother has legal custody of you and your father takes you from her, he could be charged with custodial interference, a class 6 felony. If your father takes you out of state, he could be facing a class 4 felony. Your father must request a change of physical custody through the court, which may or may not be granted, depending on the circumstances of the case.
In any case, taking you from your mother without first obtaining the court's permission is not the solution. You might consider speaking with your school counselor about the problems you are having with your mother, maybe the counselor could help both you and your mom learn to get along better.

Now honestly i'm a virgin and never did a drug in my life and my wicked mom says that i'm out of control. so she made me move where we have no family, and no friends. She moved me away from the big city to a very small town. And i want to go back and live with my dad. Now remember i'm 16 and i can call the police and tell them my mom took my out of state and i want to stay with my dad.!!!! right???

i am kinda like you guys see i was adopted when i was 6 and i still remember my mother she took care of me about 45 years of my life and my grand mother took care of me for 2 years. i have spoken to my REAL mom many times but i want more, i want to go live withe her but my mom and dad wont let me. when i turn 18 i am going to get out of there as fast as i can
