I am 16 years old and am dating an 18 year old girl, but she lives in CA. I want to go see her and my parents wont allow me to because they belive somthing might happen. Do you belive this is a valid reason to stop me(both in your opinion and in the laws eyes). I understand my mothers perspective but we have both chosen to have a non sexual relationship till we are married. Can you help me show my parents that it isnt agenst the law to see her. She belives that if I go to CA and somthing were to happen that because she let me go she could get in trouble.

I agree with Martin. Love is rare and special. Not many people have the chance to find true love and when they do it's magical. The law shouldn't get in the way of the love between two people.
