Question: Why are fireworks illegal in some states but they are not in other states?
Answer: Laws can be made at several different levels of government. For instance, there are national laws that apply to all residents of the U.S., there are state laws that only apply to people in a specific state, and there are local laws which apply to only people in a city or town.
In the case of fireworks, states have the jurisdiction to make laws regulating the sale of fireworks or banning their use altogether.
Some states next to each other might have different laws regarding fireworks, making it possible to cross the state border to buy them legally.
Be careful though, because even if you purchased fireworks legally in one state, you are still subject to the laws in the state that you are in. So you can still get in trouble for letting off fireworks if it is against the law in your state. Fireworks should be legal in new york because everyone uses them on the fourth of july and the cops just take some away or they dont do anything its only one holiday that most people use them and they are fun and they should be legal but you should use them at your own risk.

Firecracker which are used most of the time during Chinese New Year. Its illegal but its a religious thing for them chinese people. They will purchase them at High price because its illegal but they have no choice cuz thats wut they believe in and its once a year...IF ALL fireworks are legal then price would be cheaper and criminal would make no profit from us.................................................................................

All fireworks should be legal in minnesota because it's cool and when you play with it, it's your life. so I wonder why do the state concern about that and also being negative about kids getting hurt. It's not their life so they don't need to worry about it. Just relax and enjoy the fun just like most other states.

Just to let you know, considering that a decent bale of hay goes for a little under 3 dollars, Somebody would have had to burn up aprrox. 333,333,333 bales of hay which by my figures would have to be approximately a 500,000 acres field so nobody burned up a billion dollars worth of hay. I doubt there are any fields being worked that are over 3000 acres.
