Question: Can minors get pulled over solely for having super tinted windows? What is the legal limit for tinted windows?

    Answer:

In Arizona, anyone can get pulled over for violating the law concerning the tinting of windows. Arizona Law (A.R.S. § 28-959.01) says that any material on the window that lets through less than 33% of the light entering it is illegal.

as I've been told before... "Driving is a privilage, not a right." and with the consequences associated with cars, I believe it really is a privilage

I know I dont have a license yet but when I do I want to deck out my car I think that law stinks and they are descriminating agianst teens abut maybe. But maybe tha back windows could be tinted as much as we want and the front windows to a minimum. I think thebshould change it.

the reason why people get tints on there cars is not to be seen, causing suspicion by cops. I no that me and my friends all have tints b/c we like to smoke when we drive, so i agree with a cop having the right to pull u over for extremely dark tints. if we didnt have tints, we wouldnt smoke in the car.

It has nothing to do with discrimination, it is an officer safety issue. A police officer needs to be able to see inside the vehicle for his/her own safety as well as the safety of the occupants in the vehicle.

We should be able to have whatever limit we want. So what if you cant see me if i am not doing anything wrong on the road dont pull me over period. Cops are so discriminative against young people it stinks.
