Question: Are parents responsible for kid's actions?

Answer: According to Arizona law, a parent or legal guardian of a person who is under 18 years of age shall exercise reasonable care, supervision, protection and control over the minor child. Parents can be held responsible for some of the children's actions. They may be ordered to pay money to victims of their children's offenses. It depends on what the actions are and if they violate laws.

I think that it depends either way because if the kids were brought up on a bad enviorment with no REAL parental supervison then they shoudl be held accoutable for! I also think that if the kids were brought up in a good home and they always had someone to teach them what is right and wrong then they shouldnt. But if they are under the age of 13 and they do something that damages another persons properity then it would automatically be in the situation that the parents would have to go to jail if they couldnt pay. In 1995 the act which created the junvenile Justice commission expanded parental
