The police wont do anything about the mental abuse..i've been there done that..they only respond to highly physical abuse. They will give you a card to a child detective and then the detective will just tell you to get a councler to talk to you.

My mother abuses me mentally and it really scars. All my friends feel bad for me. But my mom plays these mind games telling me all my problems so it seems shes right and shes a good parent. But i know it can be better. i want it to be. Im sick of feeling this way and crying everynight. I hate how i ca'nt even pick my friends. I always get yelled at and told about how stupid i am and really hurtful things and sometimes she even loses it and hurts me physically but she says i deserve it or she doesnt mean it. So i sit here confused on what to do and scared and sick of threats. What should i do?
