    Question: Is it possible to get married without parents' consent?

    Answer: In Arizona, anyone under the age of 18 needs to have the consent of the parent or guardian that has custody over them in order to get married. See A.R.S. § 25-102. Anyone under the age of 16 also needs the approval of any superior court judge. Although no blood tests or waiting periods are required for marriage, there must be a license and a ceremony. A marriage license must be obtained from the Clerk of the Superior Court.

    i'm 16 and am planning on getting married this summer to this guy that i've known since i was born.he is 22 so my mom wants to stop us but we are going to get married in Egypt and there we only have to have a father's consent and grandfather, but i'm having my brother and uncle fill in those spots. Good luck to all those other teens out there, just follow your hearts and do what you feel is right.
