Question: If married in Mexico is it legal in the USA?
Answer: If it is a legal marriage in Mexico, then it will be legal in the US. The United States recognizes marriages from other countries, provided that you followed the marriage laws of the country you were married in. If you were not married according the the laws of Mexico, then the US would not recognize your marriage as legal.

It's your choice who you want to live with as long as you have reasons for it. Neither the states nor mexico will make you leave your mom, no matter how bad he fights for you. All you have to do is give them your reasons for not wanting to go.
