Question: If driving with a permit alone and are pulled over what are the possible concerns?
Answer: A Learner's Permit is not a license to drive a car. It is a special permit that allows you to drive a car on the road only for the purpose of learning to drive, and you must have a licensed driver with you at all times.
The point of a Learner's Permit is to give you an opportunity to learn to drive, with supervision from someone with a license.
If you were to be caught driving without supervision, you will first be cited for driving without a license just as anyone else would that is driving without a license. In addition, it is likely that you will not be allowed to obtain a Driver's License at all for some period of time as punishment for breaking the law. The period of time until you could get a License would depend on the circumstances, but will probably be until you turn eighteen year's old.

So I was going to get it but I just found out that I am going back to Massachusettes for a while until about next year around july and so in Massachusettes the law is you cannot drive with a permit till your 16 and 9 months. THEY SEARCHED ME AND MY CAR(RACIALLY PROFILING). THEY DIDNT EVEN GIVE ME A FULL EXPLAINTION OF WHAT I DID. ALL THEY TOLD ME WAS I ALMOST HIT THEM SOMEHWERE AND THEY NEVER GAVE ME ANY DETAILS ON WHAT STREET OR ANYTHING. SO I GOT FINED 400 AND KNOW IM GOIN TO COURT. IM HOPING TO GET MY LICENSE SOON BUT IF I DONT MEAN I AINT GONNA DRIVE ANYWAYZ.

I just got pull over with my permit and 3 other people were with me at the time. we just got off from work and the people at work asked me if I could get them a ride home. I told them that I only have my permit and that since they live just right next to the work place...I decide to take them along. first of all, on that day, I went and took my driver's test but fail. I needed the car from my dad to go to work. I know it was very risky but I did it anyway. I know for a fact that I shouldn't take them along and get caught. What will happen?
