Question: What are the requirements to become President?
Answer: The United States Constitution outlines the
requirements for President in Article 2. This article of the U.S. Constitution
also outlines the many powers of the President and Executive branch of
government.
Section 1 of Article 2 of the U.S. Constitution states
that a President must:
- be a natural born citizen of the united States
- be at least 35 years old
- have lived in the U.S. for at least 14 years
In addition, the 22nd Amendment to the U.S. Constitution
states that a President may not serve more than 2 terms of 4 years each,
even if they have only served as President for 2 or more years of one
of those terms.

dre needs to make sure that he reads what he posts. The President elect's name is Obama and he doesn't become president until the year 2009. More to the point doesn't it concern anyone that one of his current economic advisors is the governor of the state with the highest unemployment rate in the country per capita? The people he may choose for his cabinet members scares me to death, why can't we know these names before we vote?

Obama may be a naturalized citizen, but that doesn't mean he should have been president. Look at Jeremiah Wright. He is a naturalized citizen too, but would you want that quack job as president? I will be totally honest. I don't like McCain or Obama, but I voted for McCain because I would rather be safe and poor than rich and scared. I pray that Obama does a good job as president because if he doesn't, God have mercy on us all. On a side note. I love the way that Bush is blamed for keeping the war going in Iraq. You people do realize that congress can pull his funding at any time.

All of you that claim that "Obama will destroy our country" don't even know what you're talking about. You just hear the common word, and you stick by it. You don't have your own evidence, nor do you have support.
Grow a backbone, do some research, and come up with your own opinion. If you have a perfectly capable brain, then use it.
