I think if my mom is with me and she says I can ride it, then I should be able to ride it whereever it would be safe, not the road, but at least out in the desert or public park that has a bicycle track. in ca u have to be 16! i think its very unfair, true- by the time youre 16, you'll have a car and u wont want a Goped®. i have been riding for a year and havnt got caught. i just wish that the cops would find something better to do than bust innocent kids following the rules, and catch soemone that is really breaking the law. if anyone has any info on what the punishment is for breaking the 16 year old law?
