Question: Are sniffing whiteout and magic markers illegal?
Answer: Inhaling toxic vapors is commonly referred to as 'Huffing' and it is against the law in Arizona.
It is against the law to knowingly breathe, inhale, or drink a vapor-releasing toxic substance. Common things that fit this definition are glue, spray paint, gasoline, etc.
There are also regulations regarding the sale of inhalants. Using or selling these substances is regarded as a class 5 felony or a class 1 misdemeanor depending on the seriousness of the offense. (ARS 13-3403).

It hurts me and all our friends to see her high, we try and talk to her but she dosent undersand, the first time I new she was doing this I told somone so she could get help, I thought she got the help she needed, but I guess not becouse I found out she was doing it agin, with stronger stuff..... It really hurts me and I hate seeing her throw her life away, We have been through so much togeather. She tells me everything about it, and to me its just sickning. PL

I think you should go to a doctor about that, because you can get seriously hurt by sniffing it (that is, propane oil) You said it gives you headaches, and that is another reason why you should go to the doctor, and again that is just my opinion. Thank you for giving other people advice that are thinking about starting sniffing markers.
