Question: Can I read my Bible in school to my self in class?
Answer: The work that students do in class is subject to the control of
the teacher. However, if a teacher gives no guidelines on what students
may select to read during a free reading period, a student may read the
Bible or any other religious literature.

I think that it should be okay for kids to read the bible in school as long as they dont make a big deal out of it. I personally dont believe in god, but for kids that get comfort in god, it should be okay. All bibles should be allowed during silent reading or other times when it is allowed. If it is not disrupting, or being forced on anyone, there is really not much of a problem.

I dont know how old you all are, but you have to look at it from both sides. Would you want someone telling you the ways of the torah, or midrash or any other view points from different religions? There are plenty of ways to live without believing in god. A lot of people dont even need religion, personally, I think religion is something that can be stupid at times yet meaningful, people die for their religion, its rediculous. Just know that there you can definitely live without having god being part of your life ;)
