Yes, I agree with the statement that if parents are verbally and emotionally abusing their child that they are in no state what so ever to raise a child. I believe that a child with this kind of parent should not have to go through the court system to be able to leave their house, especially if the child has proof and witnesses that their parent is not mentally stable. My Mother verbally abuses me all the time. She calls me a slut, she always tells me i was accident & My brothers are better than me on thier worst day than i am on my best. It get's worse. I think that if parents treat thier kids like this that the child should be able to leave with out going through court.
