Question: Can I rent my own apartment without the permission of my parents?

Answer: Since renting an apartment requires you to enter into a contract, you should look for similar Q & A's in the Speak Up Answer area regarding Minors and Contracts.

You need to contact the Attorney General's Office in Arizona or your state to find out if you would be legally able to sign a lease or rental agreement without the permission of your parents.

I think you should be able to live on your own when your at least 16. Our parents say we need to grow up, so why not let us live on our own? It aint that complicating.
