Question: I am 18 and still enrolled in high school, can my parents legally kick me out of the house?
Answer: Yes. Once you have turned 18 years old, you are legally an adult and your parents no longer have a legal obligation to care for you.
The converse is true as well: once you are 18, you have the legal ability to make decisions for yourself.
The only exception to this is if you were legally incapacitated in some way. For example, if you were judged by a court to be incapable of making decisions for yourself. In that (somewhat rare case) your parents could be appointed as guardians for you after the age of 18 and would still have to provide for you.

She used him to circumvent our customary family rules (weekend curfew, not sleeping at her boyfriend's, etc.) and he ransomed her future by offering incentives like a car, independence, etc. Think hard before you turn your back on security, love and a safety net. Instead of an A-list college and a nice home, my daughter has compromised her entire future for short term celebrity, unlimited boyfriend access and no rules. Decisions have consequences. Sad.

I come from a broken home and i know sorda what your goin through so if you dont listen to my advice at least listen to this "you have control of you".
