Question: What are the laws regarding minors and sexual consent?
Answer: In Arizona, a person under the age of 18 cannot consent to engage in sexual conduct. Other states have similar laws. You can find out about laws in your state by visiting your state government web page and using key words such as codes, statutes, legislation, etc.

She is still living with her parents for the time being, but i think this all stinks because they say that if we "get together" they are going to press charges, and get a restraining order on us...can they do that!?!? right now we are just able to comunicate by the phone and internet. we are trying to get to see each other, but it's hard to figure out. i know that the girl is usually younger than the guy...but why? can someone please help me and give me advice?

I agree with of u guys ( the ppl that think that the law is a littl messed) but some of u are saying how old u are and then saying that they should change the law and make it be that u have to 15 or whatnot to beable to date som1 18 or older...well if that is what you think thats fine but really dont u think that ppl would have the same reaction if the age is changed like 3 some years?
