Question: Are parents responsible for kid's actions?

Answer: According to Arizona law, a parent or legal guardian of a person who is under 18 years of age shall exercise reasonable care, supervision, protection and control over the minor child. Parents can be held responsible for some of the children's actions. They may be ordered to pay money to victims of their children's offenses. It depends on what the actions are and if they violate laws.

parents can only be responsible for their children to some extent, they might be responsible for bringing up their kids the right way, and hopefully influence them to make the right choices. But not every kid may be lucky enough to have parents who influence them in the right ways; making the right choices and thinking about the consequences of their actions. I definately say that a child should not be punished for what there parents have done, (ie. refugees in australia: parents have brought them here, children locked up as well as parents.

i think that parents SHOULD NEVER be held responsible for there childs actions, tis not the parents fault for what they choose and ever kid has its own mind to make there decisions.

i think it is wrong for parents to be responsible for the kids. how would you like it if someone got to get in trouble when ever they feel like it. if you give a kid thier space and let them do thier own thing with some good rules they will respect you. tell them that you need them to do whats right. just be a cool parent not a uptight one.

Parents should definatley be held accountable for thier childrens actions. who raises their children? who needs to teach them what is right and what is not? Parents of unruly children should be locked up. Monkey see monkey do! Parents nee to set a good example for their children or else their child wont set a good example for their children and it will keep going on. Juveniles are vandelizing our buildings and we are the ones getting in trouble for it. They need to have a worse punishment then picking up garbage. And drugs! most children are getting them from their parents.
