Question: When is marijuana possession a misdemeanor? What are the consequences?
Answer: In Arizona, possession of less than two pounds of marijuana is a class 6 felony. The Office of the County Attorney may charge a class 6 felony as a misdemeanor at their discretion. See the Youth Laws Section - 'What kids are being arrested for?'

I don't think marijuana should be illegal because i have done some reserching and i have found out that this drus is less addictive and dangerous than lets say cigaetts, alcohol, or cocain etc... It has also been proven to help relieve migrains, and nausea. So i think if the goverment is alowing cigretts to be sold on the market than marijauna should be just as legal too.

Well yankee chums weed wont kill you, probably wont even make you ill, as for friends made smoking, these tend to much more durable than those made elsewhere. You'll find I'm right. However, it does tend to make you a tad more thoughtful, lackadaisical and on occasions even languid. Anyway best of luck.
