Question: Is smoking weed (marijuana) legal in some States?
Answer: No. Every State, from Alabama, Colorado, Kentucky to Vermont, including Arizona and every State in between, has enacted various criminal penalties for the possession, use, cultivation, transportation and distribution, of marijuana, including even the smallest of quantities.
Arizona punishes possession of amounts less than two pounds as a class six felony with fines between $750 and $150,000 and jail or prison time from six months to a year and a half.
A few States have decriminalized marijuana use and possession in small amounts (N. Carolina and California for example) but even there, its still illegal.

In my personal opion If weed were legal than I would get just as much done as if I were not stoned. Weed just calms me down so I am able to focus on what needs to get done. So whoever out there thinks that since someone is getting high they're an idiot well then look into the mirror. It is a plant that grows from the earth that gets smoked like tobacco.

They legalize alcohol which is so much worse for you than weed. Can you just imagine walking into a gas station and telling the cashier you'd like an eighth of nugget?! Legalize it and Legalize it right now..

We in America pay for the process and manufacturing of items, If weed doesn't need manufacturing than the corporations cant make more money (like they need it)....So there you go, besides do you know anybody who grows there own tobacco. Its illegal to make moonshine? why because Major alcohol companies would go broke after everyone caught on.....MMMMMM something to think about

If they made it legal they should make an age requirement just like alcohol and cigarettes. They should go about it just like alcohol. No driving under the influence, no selling to minors, no use while on a job, etc. It does impair you. It has lots of benefits and is 100% natural. If they legalized it it would be taxed so much so to the point of people not being able to buy it. It is more popular than cigarette's.
