Question: Is smoking weed (marijuana) legal in some States?
Answer: No. Every State, from Alabama, Colorado, Kentucky to Vermont, including Arizona and every State in between, has enacted various criminal penalties for the possession, use, cultivation, transportation and distribution, of marijuana, including even the smallest of quantities.
Arizona punishes possession of amounts less than two pounds as a class six felony with fines between $750 and $150,000 and jail or prison time from six months to a year and a half.
A few States have decriminalized marijuana use and possession in small amounts (N. Carolina and California for example) but even there, its still illegal.

I have tried weed before and i dont think it should be illegal because its good for ur health like it makes ur heart beat faster so your heart gets exercise and it has vitimins in it like if u smoke 2 times a day u get more than the dose of vitimins u need a day and it doesent affect ur judgement at all i can think just as clearly when im high then when im not high its just a little harder so if the only reason that weed is illegal is because tobacco companys are paying for it to be illegal than why r they trying to stop ciggaret smoking why dont they legalize weed and make ciggarets illegal

Marijuana should be legalized under some restriction that will penalized whosoever misconduct under it influence. Poor people need marijuana for their health and cannot afford medical prescription. Many people, include law enforcers died for this war which can never end. It is time for the Federal Government to use those billion of dollar for education and other job opportunities than to continually fight for this unwinable war. That is true and needed to be done. God put it on this earth for a reason. so why not enjoy it. cigarettes are just as bad for you if not worse and they're legal. and just think of all the additives in cigarettes. the only reason it's not legal is the government hasn't found a way to make money off of it.
